Due to the severity of their emotional and behavioral difficulties, most of the youngsters at the group home do not benefit from conventional therapies alone. As at the Children’s Home, they receive additional treatment through Alternative Therapies to enable them to explore difficult emotions in an intuitive, non-verbal way which can aid in their recovery. For the boys at The Kemper Group Home, the therapies take place off campus, providing a chance to take additional steps towards independence and reintegration into society.
